GETTING THERE

Heron Island is located approximately 80 kilometers off the eastern coast of Australia at the most southern end of the Great Barrier Reef. The two hour boat trip leaves from the coastal town of Gladstone, Queensland. Most flights will fly into Brisbane first, then a flight change from Brisbane to Gladstone.

Note that the boat departure times have changed from previous conferences and now depart Gladstone in the early afternoon, and return to Gladstone just after midday.

Please inform Ann Chidgey if you are taking the seaplane or helicopter so we can remove you from the Launch manifest.
